We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and manage complex technical projects and oversee release processes to ensure high-quality and timely delivery. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage dependencies, and optimize program and release workflows. The ideal candidate has a blend of technical expertise, strong project management skills, and experience with release management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Define program goals, timelines, and deliverables while aligning with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and report updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues early, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Release Management
- Plan and manage release schedules, ensuring smooth and timely deployments of software and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams to define release readiness criteria.
- Monitor releases for potential issues, address them proactively, and ensure minimal disruption to production environments.
- Lead post-release reviews to capture lessons learned and improve release processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to align priorities and gather requirements.
- Communicate program and release statuses, challenges, and progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Technical Collaboration
- Partner with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, system architecture, and trade-offs
- Ensure technical solutions align with program goals and address business needs.
Process Optimization
- Implement and refine best practices for program and release management to improve efficiency and quality
- Drive automation and process improvements in release workflows to reduce timeto-market and increase reliability.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of programs and releases.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
